It's been a while since my last post. Life keeps you busy in one thing or the other, doesn't it? And even if you are not busy it's the state of mind which dictates the terms. Human is a complex system, God could have done with a simpler one. I think that's enough of my lecture and you are probably better off listening to this beautiful Ghazal by Hariharan.

Yaadein Yaad Aati Hain

"Baatein bhool jaati hain, yaadein yaad aati hain". It's so justified that I have some nice memory attached to this song.

The stage was set; First ever interview in life, HR round and the usual question about interests. And the usual answer that I like listening to music. The next question came; so what's the last album you have listened to? I promptly replied 'Yaadein'. And the next logical question was; What's your favorite number in that album? When I replied 'Nagme hain shikwe hain', I sensed a node of approval from him as if he also liked the track.

The song became immortal for me at that moment only irrespective of whatever the result would have been. Thankfully, that is still my only interview till date and I am not jobless.
