Sarkar & Parineeta

I could not have asked more last week.Watched Parineeta and Sarkar,two completely different movies.Only similarity is that both of them are great movies.

For last two weeks I was looking for company and tickets for 'Parineeta'.Finally I booked the tickets online in Prasad's for the night show on saturday at 10:45 PM and made Kishan agree to come with me.As usual Kishan cribbed at the last moment whether we should go or not. I managed to persuade him but by the time we reached there the tickets I booked were gone as we should have reached there atleast 1 hour before the show.We thought of giving a last try and found ourselves in a long queue.Fortunately we got the last two tickets but at different places(E7 and F24).As usual again Kishan cribbed not to watch separately,but I became deaf.All these efforts were worth it.The movie was beautifully created and all the actors did justice to thier roles.The new comer Vidya did a fine job and Saif proved again that he can act well.Everything was perfect unlike over emotional films of Shahrukh from Johar's & Chopra's prodcution.Vidhu Vinod Chopra proved again that he is a sensible and mature film maker.

Many unconventional movies are coming these days and Ramu deserves the credit for it.He proved that movies will work outside formula also.The promos of Sarkar was so powerful that I was desperate to watch this movie.The movie is superb with great background music.As usual Amitabh did a great job,but its not an Amitabh's movie.Its an Abhishek's movie completely.He had done a great job.It only proves that a good director can extract best out of any actor.
