Sachin Tendulkar : God of Cricket
No. He is not human. He just looks and behaves as a normal human being. But he can’t be human. He has been sent to this planet by someone up there to play cricket and spread joy among billions of Cricket fans. It’s so just that he is the first one to reach the summit of double hundred in One Day Cricket.
Just few days back, I was having a discussion with some friends about money and what it can buy and what it can’t. No amount of money can buy the euphoric moments Sachin has provided us in last two decades. Such great fame, money and still he carries himself with grace, dignity and humility. In these times of Tiger Woods and John Terry, we still have someone in Sachin Tendulkar as ideal role model for everyone.
Thank you Sachin for everything and we hope you go on for ever!!

How do you reconcile this latest blog on Sachin with the one on Jan 11 2007?
I am with you on both blogs but still think he should retire, especially after this next world cup.
I standby both of my posts. Then I was critical of his approach and style of playing. He had become too defensive. That doesn't mean that I didn't think he was god of cricket then. It was just painful to see him as a normal batsman. The way he has come back since then is remarkable. Of course he can't be the old Sachin but at least he is playing with some authority these days. I think we have discusses a lot about his retirement. Let's leave to him that decision. He has earned it. Whenever he goes, he will leave me in tears:)
