Times of India Hyderabad is gracious enough to allow common people to attend their annual festival in which they organize live music concerts and plays .
Last time the most I enjoyed was Hans Raj Hans's performance. And this time it was Indian Ocean which is hardly any surprise:)
This was the third gig of Indian Ocean that I attended in Hyderabad and they seem to keep growing on me day by day. I have been listening to them for more than a decade now and it's like I have imprinted to their music in Twilight's terminology. It's very hard to explain this insane liking but it's like a drug to me which takes to a high where you forget everything else. Those two hours can't be counted as humanly hours of my life.
OK, I must admit I am running out of adjectives in praise of Indian Ocean. As if they were not enough on their own, they collaborated with Mohit Chauhan to create this magic called "Maaya". Either they are here to make sound which haunts me or I am here just to worship their music. Either way their music is one of "high" in my very normal life.
It's been quite a while since updating this space. But, there could not have been any better reason than this song from Delhi Belly to make a come back.
I watched the movie yesterday and it was perfect. I would not change a single scene, situation or expression. It has to be the most bizarre and crazy movie Bollywood has ever made. But, it's hilarious and lovable. This was my instant reaction to movie yesterday.
"I just watched the perfect movie. If I had the power, I would not let Abhinay Deo direct any other movie in his life. He can only fall from here."
Music and Background score play an important part in any movie. Hats off to Ram Sampath for doing a brilliant job. The moment I heard the background score of "Tere Siva" being played during scenes between Taashi and Maneka, I was floored. Tunes and songs just strike me instantly. Either I like them at first instance or I don't like them ever. Beautiful lyrics and composition. It's gonna be few days before I kill this song. Enjoy!!
Yeh hai dua, ya hai sazaa Kuch na dikhe, tere siva Tere siva Duniya mein kuch bhi na dikhta hai, tere siva Tera nasha Chhaaya hai, chhaaya hai, chhaaya hai, tera nasha
Yeh nasha, badh jaaye na, kahin ragon mein chadh jaaye na Tere bin kuch na rahoon, pyaar be-bas kar jaaye na
Iss tarah khona kisi mein, theek bhi hai ya nahin Pyaar ke iss sagar mein main, doob na jaaun kahin
Yeh hai dua, ya hai sazaa Kuch na dikhe, tere siva Tere siva Duniya mein kuch bhi na dikhta hai, tere siva Tera nasha Chhaaya hai, chhaaya hai, chhaaya hai, tera nasha
Iss tarah chhoota hai tu, gir hassi khulti hoon main Kitne din ehsaas yeh, sang le chalti hoon main
Din-ba-din chahat teri, ho rahi aadat meri Aisa hai tera nasha, gum sa hai khud ka pataa
Ye hai dua, ya hai sazaa Kuch na dikhe, tere siva Tere siva Duniya mein kuch bhi na dikhta hai, tere siva Tera nasha Chhaaya hai, chhaaya hai, chhaaya hai, tera nasha
