Tu Kisi Rail Si Guzarti Hai

I had given up on bollywood music. Barring one or two meaningful songs here and there, nothing much to look for in recent times. But, I was pleasantly surprised to hear this song "Tu Kisi Rail Si Guzarti Hai". It's so beautiful and soulful that I am having goose bumps and my eyes getting moist with joy. And I am not surprised to see "Indian Ocean" composing this piece. Even without Asheem and Susmit they rock.

Tu kisi rail si guzarti hai
Tu kisi rail si guzarti hai
Main kisi pull sa.. thartharata hoon
Tu bhale ratti bhar na sunti hai
Main tera naam budbudata hoon
Kisi lambe safar ki raaton mein
Tujhe alaav sa jalaata hoon
Tu kisi rail si guzarti hai
Main kisi pull sa.. thartharata hoon

Kaath ke taale hai
Aankh pe daale hai
Unmein isharon ki chabiyaan laga (x2)

Raat jo baaqi hain
Shaam se taaki hain
Neeyat mein thodi...
Neeyat mein thodi kharabiyaan lagaa
Kharabiyaan lagaa

Main hoon paani ke bulbule jaisa
Tujhe sochun toh phoot jaata hoon

Tu kisi rail si guzarti hai
Main kisi pull sa.. thartharata hoon (x2)

Thartharata hoon...
Thartharata hoon...

Online Fashion War in India

As more and more people in India are getting comfortable with online shopping, the war is hotting up in this fashion space. There were already many Indian big players like Flipkart, Myntra, Jabong, Snapdeal etc. But, Amazon coming to India has made the competition tough. This prompted Flipkart to consolidate it's position buy buying Myntra in a whopping Rs 2000 cr deal. Time will tell how much dent Amazon can make to Indian player's share. But, one thing is sure it's good news for the consumers. The more the competition, the more beneficial it will be for consumers.

Thank you Sachin!!

And finally the day came, Sachin retires from one day format. He has been hardly playing this format since World Cup triumph in 2011 but still this announcement is like a "Full Stop". Somewhere in my heart the hope was always there that he will play some more time but that's not going to happen any more. Like all Sachin's fan I am a little sad but it's not the time to mourn but to celebrate a glorious career.

Sports give so much excitement to our otherwise monotonous and boring life. I started to watch Cricket seriously around same time when Sachin debuted in 1989. It was the black and white television days, the days of Doordarshan. I still remember how we used to assemble in someone's house having a tv to watch the matches. Sometimes standing outside a television shop and watching Sachin bat. It was the time when Sachin was synonymous with the whole team. If he plays we used to win and once he gets out people used to switch off tv. He gave us the belief, he was a symbol of rising India. We struggle to carry the burden of ourselves and family but he did that for a billion of people for many many years. It's simply incredible.

He was the kid everyone loved to love. And it was more than his playing skills. He was humble, graceful and did not abandon the middle class values he was brough up with even after he became such a big star.

There was never anyone like Sachin earlier and there won't be anyone like Sachin ever. Thank you Sachin for the beautiful moments and memories.

Aur Ho

Magical lyrics and composition. This can be only expected from A R Rahman. such a difficult song but beautifully performed by Mohit.

Meri bebaasi ka bayaan hai
Bus chal raha na iss ghadi

Meri bebaasi ka bayaan hai
Bus chal raha na iss ghadi
Rus hasrat ka nichode doon
Kus bahon mein aa todh doon
Chahoon kya jaanoon naa
Cheen loon chod doon
Iss lamhe..kya kar jaaoon
Iss lamhe..kya kar jaaoon
Iss lamhe..kya kar doon mein
Jo mujhe chain mile
Aaraam mile

Aur ho aur ho
Saans ka shor ho
Aanch ki ore badhe

Aur ho aur ho
Saans ka shor ho
Taap bhi aur chade

Aur ho aur ho
Aur mile
Hum aur bhi jal jaaye

Tujhe pehli baar mein
Milta hoon..Har dafaa
Meri bebaasi..ka bayaan hai
[oh saathiya..]

Tujhe cheen loon ya chodh doon
Tujhe maang loon ya modh doon
Iss lamhe..kya kar jaaoon

Iss lamhe..kya kar doon mein
Jo mujhe chain mile
Aaraam mile

Aur ho aur ho
Saans ka shor ho
Aanch ki ore badhe

Aur ho aur ho
Saans ka shor ho
Taap bhi aur chade

Aur ho aur ho
Aur mile
Hum aur bhi jal jaaye
[ Piya..piya..
Piya..piya..
Piya..]

Main hasrat mein ik
Uljhi dore hua..
Suljha de..ho ho
Main dastaak hoon
Tu band kiwadoon sa
Khulja re..ho

Oh bebaasi
Mann mein bassi
Aa jeetey jeetey
Jeeley sapnaa..

Aur ho aur ho
Saans ka shor ho
Aanch ki ore badhe

Aur ho aur ho
Aur mile
Hum aur bhi jal jaaye

Ruke sa..na ruke
Yeh na thake
Aandhi si joh chale
Inn sansoon ki
Pata bhi na chale
Kahan pe kya jale
Hai darr se
Tann mann ki
Sehran se..
Hasrat ki
Surgan se
Bhadke aag..

Shola shola
jake bhuje
Dhuaan dhuaan oh
Dhuaan dhuaan
Lage mujhe
Dhuaan dhuaan oh

Meri bebaasi ka bayaan hai
Meri bebaasi ka bayaan hai
Meri bebaasi ka bayaan hai

Indian Ocean Performed Live At Mountain Heights

Times of India Hyderabad is gracious enough to allow common people to attend their annual festival in which they organize live music concerts and plays .

Last time the most I enjoyed was Hans Raj Hans's performance. And this time it was Indian Ocean which is hardly any surprise:)

This was the third gig of Indian Ocean that I attended in Hyderabad and they seem to keep growing on me day by day. I have been listening to them for more than a decade now and it's like I have imprinted to their music in Twilight's terminology. It's very hard to explain this insane liking but it's like a drug to me which takes to a high where you forget everything else. Those two hours can't be counted as humanly hours of my life.

Pure magic.
